BATTERY ISSUES

There were some issues with powering the Arduino. The USB port connecting the Arduino to a computer for programming worked fine, but when I used the battery to power the Arduino through the Vin pin, it did not work. Eventually I found that the Arduino had some faults, and replacing the whole Arduino board fixed the issue. I also used the power jack instead of the Vin pin to power the arduino as it was the recommended method for doing so.
