Braced Cantilever Shelf

Here is a simple braced cantilever shelf I made to store objects close to my bed (such as my phone, wallet, etc.). I made it from a shoe box, metal wire, tape, and a simple idea in mind. I have created this last year at another dorm room and I have transported this safely to my new dorm room. It hangs by the lamp on the wall beside my bed.
