TRYING OUT THE NEW GIMBAL


The camera gimbal worked great! Althought the shock absorbers weren't so good, so the camera still shakes significantly, it was still good to see the camera adapting to tilting by the multicopter. Next, I will program the gimbal to adjustits pitch according to my 5th channel's input, so I will be able to turn the knob on my remote transmitter and it will control whether the camera is looking down or up. Further project goals include:

  • Integrate altitude detection

  • Set up transmitter channel 5 and 6

  • Pitch-Adjustable stabilizer gimbal

  • GPS position hold

  • GPS based movement control

  • Integrate GPS setting to only if available and revert to normal program if not

  • Return to home function

  • ​Low battery return to home
