MERGING OF PROJECTS

A new semester approaches, and the winter break has been a busy period as my team discussed with other REDbird members to merge our projects. The project by Nathan, Basil, and Ruby mainly about empowering others to showcase their talents, will now be merged with my project about hosting fun activities. Together, we will be called the Talents & Interests Network, and we will be a student group that aims to provide assistance and guidance to HKUST students, especially freshmen, who wish to host an activity to showcase their ideas. Through our project, we will encourage others to showcase their talents & interests. We will be hosting a total of five activities so far: an Astronomical BBQ Night, a DDP Yoga Sharing Workshop, a Leather Making Workshop, a Solve the Mystery Game, and a DIY Aircraft Workshop. We are in contact with another first year REDbird member interested in hosting another workshop about design thinking. Also, another REDbird second year member is interested in merging their project with ours to make the process of hosting events go smoother. The project is now also hosted on ti-network.weebly.com
